The study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association of Pediatrics, found that, by removing the fat from milk, this was replaced by sugars, which can be potentially more damaging in the long term. Is the consumption of cow’s milk is necessary?
Scientific matches other studies to consider that human beings do not acquire nutritional benefits of cow’s milk, and may even be very harmful to the body. However, there are other foods that are richer in calcium than cow’s milk, and have no negative health effects that milk can have long-term.

As Harvard scientist explains, there are few clinical trials in which we can see the clear differences of skimmed milk compared with whole milk, in relation to its benefits for weight maintenance and other health benefits. By contrast, several studies have found that people who consume milk with low fat feel less satiated and are more likely to gain weight because they have a greater need for increased calorie intake.

However, studies are increasingly clear in stating that this product is not as good as the market has been saying for several decades. Experts suggest that it is better to consume whole milk, whenever organic.
