Grandfather Dobri by the local community is treated almost as a saintly person and personification of goodness. Most of the money that the old man collects is passed on to the poorest of people or to renovate the church monuments and relics. He is one of the most generous donors Nevsky Cathedral and in 2010 donated 20,000 euros.
